The massive, rocky hill of Klin with its typical pyramid shape is the type of hill you see from a distance. Its pointed peak and wide slopes will encourage you to make an ascend. The Klin Hill is a significant hill of the Western Tatras, not only because it is situated on the Slovak - Polish border, but also because it offers a truly diverse landscape scenery.

The foot of the Klin hill is the place where two valleys meet - Račková and Gáborová Valley. In addition, there is also the highest situated shepherd's chalet in Slovakia, which is named Koliba pod Klinom (Chalet below Klin Hill).

The hike to the Klin Hill is relatively demanding, the climb to the top of Račkovo or Gáborovo Saddle is particularly difficult. However, you will be rewarded with enchanting views of the surrounding, unmistakable natural beauty and especially majestic views from the very top. Among the fluffy clouds you will find both the Western and the High Tatras, including their Polish part, the Low Tatras, the Orava Beskydy and the Slovak Ore Mountains.

The climb to Klin Hills begins in the mouth of Račkova Valley (about 10km). If you arrive here by car, you can leave it in the parking lot next to the campsite. A large part of the road will be followed by the yellow-marked hiking trail. In Račkovo Saddle you will join the red one that will take you to the very top.
